In the country’s fourth anniversary of Independence, we recall not only the day when our state was born, but at the same time we honor all those who made this day possible, whole generations who built the vision of an Independent Kosovo.
Today we mark the history of the state built upon the dream, aspiration and work of the people of our country, and upon the sacrifice and contribution of all the citizens who built the ideal of a free state.
In this anniversary we mark, the establishment and strengthening of friendship with all those who assisted the birth of the new state of Kosovo and opened the road of the new perspective towards a safer and more prosperous future.
Our road towards the completion of the state-building process requires responsibility, and we, the generations of the Independence of Kosovo, are obliged to complete it.
Our state-building requires more sacrifice, more pragmatism and more love for the homeland. We have proved that we can build a homeland for every citizen of the Republic regardless of ethnicity or religion, a homeland of cultural diversity where everyone can feel its own master. Not only the institutions of the Republic, but We the Citizens of Kosovo, are building a dignified state, equal to all others, an inseparable part of the European family.
We want to transform Kosovo into a country with the highest investment potentials and a leading country in the Balkan region.
Kosovo is a country of great development opportunities, a country of a new vision. It is our objective to develop the economy of the country, to create new jobs for young men and women, for the next generation, who will raise Kosovo to the level of developed countries. We need foreign investments and powerful investors and we are creating a safe and favorable environment to attract foreign capital.

In its fourth anniversary of independence, the Republic of Kosovo, recognized by 87 countries, is a factor of peace and stability, with the clear goal of membership in the Organization of the United Nations, NATO and EU, which would make our country an equal member of the great family of nations.
We will assist the international community to successfully terminate the supervised independence, which will enable the growth of our influence as an important and equal factor in the region and to undertake our full international obligations.
The Republic of Kosovo is a state built upon civic principles, which respects human rights and liberties. The citizens of the Republic of Kosovo are equal citizens everywhere, in every corner of Kosovo they are citizens with rights but also obligation, civic responsibility to build our country.
Our homeland is our common destiny and opportunity. We are all responsible for building and advancing our common country.
We have chosen the path of cooperation and dialogue, the path of agreements and peaceful solutions without ever giving up our subjectivity, sovereignty and integrity. The Republic of Kosovo is an international reality, irreversible, recognized and with subjectivity; a state which guarantees peace and stability, a unified state.

We are working for the future by building it today, in every our engagement and every our action and on this anniversary of Independence we witness the commitment to build the new Kosovo, European, Equal and with Dignity with other countries.
Let this fourth anniversary serve us to walk together in our path towards the advancement of democratic processes, with the continues support of our international friends, by becoming a leading example of order and rule of law, a country worth our commitment, our every day work to make it better, more beautiful, more prosperous.
