Han i Elezit, May 29th 2019 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, participated today at the official opening ceremony of the “Arbën Xhaferi” highway.
President Thaçi stated that today is a special day for Kosovo, for our state, our society and also for the whole region.
“Today we are inaugurating one of the major projects of the state of Kosovo, the longest bridge in our region. It is a compelling investment, a well worth one though, because a free and independent Kosovo must carry on developing. And, if only yesterday we dreamed of such a Kosovo, today that has become a reality. If such projects seemed impossible yesterday, they are a reality today. If we have enjoyed such achievements yesterday in the west, we have them here in our new Kosovo today,” said President Thaçi.
The head of state said that this is the new, modern and European Kosovo.
