New York, September 26, 2018 – The First Lady of Kosovo, Lumnije Thaçi, who is accompanying the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, at the United Nations General Assembly week, attended the reception hosted by the First Lady of the United States of America, Melania Trump.
At this event, in addition to the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump and the wife of the US Vice President Karen Pence, the First Lady of Kosovo also met the First Ladies of Austria, Ghana, Haiti, Canada, South Korea, Madagascar, Poland, Georgia, Israel, Nigeria and some other states
The First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, spoke to her audience about her humanitarian activities and the “Be Best” campaign, a public awareness campaign focusing on youth wellbeing and advocating against internet harassment and against drug use.
In the framework of the United Nations General Assembly week, the First Lady of Kosovo, Lumnije Thaçi, also attended the reception hosted by US President Donald Trump, and the Eighth Annual Official First Ladies Luncheon.
