The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga has taken the decision today that the elections for Mayor of the Municipality of Ferizaj to be held on, Sunday, 29 April 2012.
The decision was taken, based on Article 56, paragraph 3 (c) of the Law on Local Government, and on Article 4, paragraph 4 and Article 11 of the Law on Local Elections in the Republic of Kosovo, given the notification of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, protocol number 036-354/1, and after consultations with political parties and the Central Election Commission.
By decision, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kosovo is instructed to take all actions necessary for the organization and the conduct of the elections for Mayor of the Municipality of Ferizaj, in accordance with this decision and the applicable law.
