Prishtina, April 14, 2019 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has traveled to Brussels today, where he will have meetings with senior representatives of the European Union.
In the framework of this visit, President Thaçi will meet with European Council President, Donald Tusk, and EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn.
President Thaçi will request from the EU leaders to continue the as soon as possible support and implementation of visa liberalization for Kosovo’s citizens.
In Brussels, President Thaçi will also talk about the necessity of the dynamics of the European integration agenda for the Western Balkans as a prerequisite for securing long-term peace in Europe.
