Prishtina, January 18 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has had a telephone conversation with the Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden, with whom he discussed about the latest developments in the region.
President Thaçi has thanked Vice President Biden for his immediate commitment, but also of the US in order to avoid the tensions between Kosovo and Serbia.
“Thank you for sending the messages to all parties that behaviors which promote tensions need to be avoided”, stated in this telephone call President Thaçi.
President Thaçi has added that dialogue and cooperation are the only way forward for the Western Balkans.
“We are committed to dialogue, normalization, for reconciliation”, said President Thaçi.
