Prishtina, August 29, 2016 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, strongly condemns the attack last night at the house of the family of the General Director of the Radio Television of Kosovo, Mentor Shala.
“The bomb attack at the house of the family of the General Director of the Radio Television of Kosovo, Mentor Shala, is an ugly and unacceptable criminal act. Criminal attacks against media executives and their families directly threaten the privacy, opinion and freedom of speech, at the same time seriously damaging the image of Kosovo”, said President Thaçi.
The Head of State has invited the authorities of law enforcement and justice to illuminate this case and all the other criminal attacks of the recent weeks as soon as possible, in order that the perpetrators of these attacks to be brought to justice as soon as possible.
