Prishtina, November 26, 2019 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta, related to the victims of the earthquake in Albania.
In this letter of condolences, President Thaçi has said that the people of Kosovo sympathize with their brothers and sisters across the border.
“On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and on my behalf, I extend to you, our Albanian brothers and sisters, and the families of the victims of this earthquake, my sincerest condolences and express the highest readiness for support and solidarity”, said President Thaçi.
Likewise, President Thaçi informed President Meta about the sending of the units of the Kosovo Security Force in support of the population of earthquake-damaged areas.
