Washington, November 27, 2018 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, on the second day of the official visit to Washington has held a meeting with John Bolton, National Security Advisor to the President of the USA, Donald Trump.
At this meeting there was discussed about the relations between the two states, about the Euro-Atlantic perspective and the necessity of reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia as a precondition for long-term peace and stability in the region
President Thaçi thanked Advisor John Bolton for the support President Trump is offering to Kosovo in all fields.
On the other hand, President Trump’s National Security Advisor has assured the President of Kosovo that the White House and the Trump administration strongly support the achievement of a comprehensive agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
During the day, President Thaçi is expected to meet with numerous US representatives in Congress, the Senate and other institutions.
