Prishtina, July 23rd – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today at an introductory meeting the Kosovo Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme, “UNDP” Maria Suokko, wishing her a warm welcome and a successful tenure.
President Thaçi pointed out that UNDP supported Kosovo in various fields during the last two decades.
“We are happy with your contribution in the fields of rule of law, environmental protection as well as in support of economic development, “said President Thaçi.
Maria Suokko UND Representative said that UNDP will continue to support Kosovo in its developmental path.
President Thaçi also added that institutions of Kosovo will continue to cooperate with UNDP and support its projects.
