Pristina, December 16 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the credentials of the non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Kosovo, François Bontemps.
Wishing Ambassador Bontemps good luck on his new position, President Thaçi said that the Kingdom of Belgium has continuously supported Kosovo in different periods.
“The state building of Kosovo has been a success story. We have also achieved this thanks to a cooperation and support of the Kingdom of Belgium, for which we are very grateful”, said President Thaçi.
He stressed that Kosovo and Belgium have excellent diplomatic relations, which should be deepened through an even greater economical and trade exchange, and exchange in the field of education and culture.
Whereas, the non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Kosovo, François Bontemps, has said that Belgium will continue to support Kosovo in all fields.
