Prishtina, October 31st – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the Ambassador of Finland, Pia Stjernvall, with whom he discussed the developments in Kosovo.
President Thaçi said that Kosovo has undergone an excellent electoral process and is now awaiting the formation of the new government
“After an excellent electoral process, I expect the new government to be formed quickly and to move ahead on our path or Euro-Atlantic integrations,” said President Thaçi.
Ambassador Stjernvall said that Finland supports Kosovo’s and Balkan’s European perspective.
President Thaçi added that it is important that the support of the EU member states for all countries of western Balkans should not waver.
“Kosovo has no other alternative to EU membership,” concluded President Thaçi.
