Prishtina, September 30 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received in an introductory meeting the Head of the Office of the Kingdom of Belgium, Jean Louis Servais.
President Thaçi has thanked him for the support that Belgium has given to Kosovo in different periods.
“Belgium has supported the people of Kosovo at all times, in a time of war, but also in the time of state building and has often been the driving force of other countries to move on in relation to Kosovo”, said President Thaçi.
On the other hand, the Head of the Office of the Kingdom of Belgium to Kosovo, Jean Louis Servais said that the Kingdom of Belgium will continue the support for Kosovo and its European future.
“We welcome the commitment for a multi-ethnic and tolerant Kosovo”, he added.
In the end, President Thaçi said that the Kosovo diaspora in Belgium remains also a linking bridge between the two peoples.
