President Thaçi received congratulations from the President of Croatia, the President of Bulgaria, and from the President of Northern Macedonia

Prishtina, February 15 – On the 12th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, President Thaçi received congratulations from the President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, and from the President of Northern Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski.

In her letter to President Thaçi, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic wrote that she firmly believes that the traditionally friend relations, the fruitful cooperation between Croatia and Kosovo will be further developed and strengthened in various areas of common interest, especially in economy, where there is potential in many sectors.

“The Republic of Croatia, as your friend, strongly supports the future of the Republic of Kosovo in the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance and is willing to continue to support and transfer its knowledge and experience gained in the Euro-Atlantic integration process”, it is said in the letter of President Grabar-Kitarovic.

The President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, conveying his congratulations for the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo, in his letter sent to President Thaçi, among others, wrote that for more than ten years we have systematically built our relations in the spirit of friendship and partnership, which is a solid basis and a potential for the future development and deepening of cooperation between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Kosovo.

“I believe we share the common opinion that European and Euro-Atlantic values are the basis for stability in the region and that in the future we will continue to work together even more deeply for their application and affirmation. I take this opportunity once again to underline the support of the Republic of Bulgaria for the European perspective of the Republic of Kosovo”, President Radev writes in his letter.

During the day, President Thaçi also received a congratulatory telegram from the President of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski.

“Moreover, I would like to take this opportunity and express my satisfaction with the level that our two countries have achieved in developing relations and cooperation between them, convinced that they will continue to intensify in all areas of common interest in the months and years ahead”, President Pendarovksi wrote in his letter.
