President Thaçi met with the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis

New York, September 24th – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, during the proceedings of the United Nations’ General Assembly, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

A number of subjects related to strengthening of the relations between two states and two nations were discussed at the meeting.

“It is time now to expand the current good cooperation, into a proper relation between our two states,” said the President.

President Thaçi thanked the Greek Prime Minister for the support that his country has provided to Kosovo in its Euro-Atlantic integration processes.

The opportunities for the increase of economic cooperation and trade exchange, as well as cooperation in the fields of education and culture.

The Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that Greece supports the European perspective of the countries of the western Balkans.

President Thaçi shall also be holding a number of other meetings with various leaders from around the world.
