Prishtina, June 29th, 2016 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Kosovo, Kıvılcım Kılıç, whom he handed a telegram of condolence for the victims of the terrorist attacks in Istanbul.
“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Kosovo, I express my deepest condolences to you, the families of the victims, President Erdoğan and to all the people of Turkey”, President Thaçi said at the meeting.
“This is not Islam. It is neither a national nor religious ideology”, Thaçi said, adding that Turkey is a strong country and that it will withstand this challenge as well.
On the other hand, Ambassador Kılıç thanked President Thaçi for the telegram of condolence and stressed that Turkey will become stronger thanks to the solidarity and support from its friends.
