Prishtina, October 14 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has sent a telegram of condolences to the Queen of Thailand, Sirikit, on the passing away of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
On behalf of the people of the Republic of Kosovo, it is with great sadness that I express our profound condolences and sympathy to You, the royal family and the people of Thailand on the passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej”, it is said in the telegram of condolences of President Thaçi.
President Thaçi said that the King of Thailand has been a respected leader in the country and around the world for his wisdom and commitment.
“The world has lost a leader who was close to the people, a carrier of peace and unity and prosperity for the people of Thailand and beyond”, it is said in the telegram of President Thaçi.
