The President of the country, Hashim Thaçi, in honour of the life and work of the great artist, Nexhmije Pagarusha, has decided to declare the day of her burial, February 9, 2020, a day of state mourning throughout the Republic of Kosovo.
President Thaçi has taken this decision as a sign of state and civic respect for artist Nexhmije Pagarusha, who gave eternal values to our national culture and art.
In accordance with the legislation in force, on the day of mourning, the state flag shall be raised in half mast in all state facilities of the Republic of Kosovo, at home and abroad.
