Thursday, November 03, 2016 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, announced today the date of the extraordinary elections for Mayor of Drenas.
In accordance with his constitutional and legal powers, respecting the legal terms and after consultation with the representatives of the main political parties, President Thaçi has decided to announce the extraordinary elections for Mayor of Drenas, on December 4, 2016.
In accordance with this decision and the law in force, President Thaçi has instructed the Central Election Commission to undertake all the necessary actions for the organization of these elections.
