Halifax, Canada, November 17 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, who is on a visit in Canada, will attend the opening of the International Security Forum, being held in Halifax
At the opening of this forum present will be distinguished personalities of political and security life, such as the host, the Canadian Defense Minister, Harjit SIngh Sajjan, the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, the Defense Ministers of Ukraine, Mexico and other states.
There will also be many representatives of security and defense companies from 70 different countries of the world.
In the evening, President Thaçi will be a speaker at the main table on the topic of the future of peacebuilding missions. President Thaçi will talk about Kosovo’s experiences in building peace.
The International Security Forum at Halifax is known as an annual event that creates room for decision-makers to jointly find solutions to difficult issues, especially those related to global security.
