Prishtina, April 6, 2018 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received the U.S. Director for South Central European Affairs, Matthew Palmer.
President Thaçi has said that Kosovo is committed to sustainable peace in the region.
“Kosovo is ready for the final phase of the dialogue with Serbia and is committed to finding a permanent solution that strengthens peace in the region and across the continent of Europe”, said President Thaçi.
Whereas, Matthew Palmer, U.S. Director for South Central European Affairs, reaffirmed once again the support of the United States of America for the European path of Kosovo.
President Thaçi and Director Palmer assessed that only dialogue leads to regional stability and long-term peace and remains the only and irreplaceable mechanism for solving problems in our region.
