President Sejdiu received the French Ambassador to Kosovo Mr. François-Xavier Deniau in a farewell meeting

On the other hand, Ambassador Deniau reaffirmed the commitment of its country to continue to support Kosovo in all areas. “France will be standing by you until you finally accomplish your objective of being a part of the European Union and NATO” – Ambassador François-Xavier Deniau affirmed. He also asserted that his country will engage in strengthening the existing cooperation with Kosovo’s institutions, particularly in the areas of common interest.

“France has constantly been a strong supporter of Kosovo and aspirations of its people for freedom and independence” – the President of Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu emphasized in a farewell meeting today with French Ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. François-Xavier Deniau.
 
“This support – President Sejdiu added – gained in weight recently at the International Court of Justice where France excelled in supporting the legality of Republic of Kosovo’s independence and the right of our people to live in freedom and independence. Moreover, President Sejdiu expressed his appreciation for the constant support that France has provided to Kosovo in the fields of education, culture and economy, distinguishing, in particular, its role within KFOR, where the French contingent has provided a significant contribution to peace, stability and security in Kosovo.
