President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs Atifete Jahjaga has sent her condolences to the President of the United States of America, Mr Barack Obama, on the occasion of the tragic shooting at a school in Connecticut, which resulted with tens of lives lost.
The telegram of condolence states:
Honourable President Obama
We heard with great sorrow the hard news of the shootings in the elementary school in Connecticut leaving behind many lost lives of young children and devastated families.
On behalf of the institutions, the people of the Republic of Kosovo and my personal behalf, I would like to express the most sincere condolences for the loss of the lives and the sorrow caused by this terrible event to the families and the American people.
At this time of mourning and grief in your country, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
