The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanovski. President Veljanovski said that this is his first visit to the Republic of Kosovo and considered the relations between the two countries as very good relations.
He said that Macedonia and Kosovo have no open issues between themselves and that the cooperation in all fields including economy and infrastructure should be deepened.
Mr. Veljanovski said it is in the interest of all the Balkan countries to accelerate the process of Euro-Atlantic integration and cooperation is needed between them.
The Macedonian President of the Assembly said that his country can help the process of European integration by carrying forward all experiences to the Kosovo institutions.
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga by assessing the relations between the two countries as very good relations said that they are also in the interest of the stabilization of the region. President Jahjaga said that the versatile cooperation and especially the economic cooperation helps both countries and is in function of the increase of welfare of the citizens.
She said that the Assemblies of both countries should build closer relations in order to exchange experiences among themselves. President Jahjaga said that Kosovo and Macedonia should help each other on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration, because this is the common future.
