President Jahjaga received the new Ambassador of Portugal to Hungary, accredited to Kosovo on non-residential basis

President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal to Hungary, accredited to Kosovo on non-residential basis, Ms. Maria Jose Morais Pires, who on this occasion presented her letters of credence.

President Jahjaga praised the relations and the cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Portugal, and emphasized the need for expansion of this cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.

President Jahjaga congratulated Ambassador Morais Pires for her new tenure, and wished her successful work during her mandate as a non-residential Ambassador of Portugal to the Republic of Kosovo.

Ambassador Morais Pires expressed the dedication of the institutions of the Republic of Portugal for the expansion of the cooperation with the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in all fields with interest to both countries.
