President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga received for e meeting today the Maltese Ambassador to Vienna, accredited to Kosovo on non-residential basis, Mr. Colin Scicluna.
Maltese Ambassador transmitted the greetings of the President of Malta and presented his credential letters to the President of Kosovo.
He said that Malta was one of the first countries to recognise the independence of the Republic of Kosovo and expressed the readiness of his country to assist Kosovo in its Euro-Atlantic integration processes, as they see the future of Kosovo within the European Union.
President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, thanked the Maltese Ambassador for the immediate recognition of the state of Kosovo and for the continuous assistance that his country is providing on Kosovo’s integrational journey through sharing of experiences.
