President Jahjaga received the Ambassador of Ireland non-resident for Kosovo, Kevin Dowling

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland non-resident in the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Kevin Dowling, with whom she talked about the latest developments in the country and the European perspective of Kosovo.

President Jahjaga praised the close relations between the two countries expressing the readiness of the institutions of Kosovo to expand the cooperation in areas of common interest.

President Jahjaga praised the importance of the offering of the clear European perspective for Kosovo and the region, as the only alternative for guaranteeing peace and stability and the prosperous future of all citizens without distinction.

Ambassador Dowling said that the Republic of Ireland assesses the progress that Kosovo has made expressing his country’s commitment to continue the support for Kosovo’s European agenda and its membership in international organizations.
