The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga received today the Ambassador of Canada in Zagreb, non-resident for Kosovo, Mr. Daniel Maksymiuk.
President Jahjaga assessed that the relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Canada are very good and expressed the determination of our institutions to deepen the interstate cooperation between the two countries especially in the field of economic development and foreign investment.
She highly praised the support that Canada has given to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in all the state-building processes.
President Jahjaga congratulated Ambassador Maksymiuk on his new assignment, wishing him successful work during his mandate as non-resident Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Kosovo.
Ambassador Maksymiuk stressed that Canada strongly supports the institutions of Kosovo and is committed to deepen the cooperation in all fields of common interest, especially in the economic field.
