The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga sent a telegram of condolences to the King of Belgium, Albert II, on the occasion of the tragic accident occurred in Switzerland, where 28 citizens of Belgium, among them 22 children, lost their lives.
In the telegram it is said:

Your Excellency,
On behalf of the institutions and the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I ask you to accept my sincere condolences for the tragic loss of the lives of the pupils from Belgium during their trip to Switzerland.
We are deeply saddened by this tragedy and in these moments of sorrow for your people, we extend our support and sympathy to the families who have lost their loved ones in this accident.
