The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga attended the opening of the three-day international conference “Women Driving Economic Growth in South Eastern Europe”, which is being held in the Croatian capital, Zagreb.
The International Conference is organized by the Project “Invest for the Future”, which is created with the support of the U.S. State Department and is a support network for women entrepreneurs in the region of Southeast Europe and Euro-Asia.
The President of the Republic, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga yesterday evening took part in the gala dinner organized for the conference participants.
She, in the context of the conference, will hold a speech on “Rule of Law as a Foundation for Economic Growth and Entrepreneurship” and will meet a number of participants and senior international officials.
At this conference, among the 170 participants, the Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and the U.S. Ambassador on of women global issues, Melanne Verveer, will participate as well.
