The President of the Republic of Kosovo has decided to appoint Mr. Binak Vishaj, member of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Kosovo, as representatives of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AFK).
The decision was taken based on Article 139, item 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, article 61, article 62 of the Law on the General Elections in the Republic of Kosovo, and at the request of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
Mr. Vishaj has given today the oath before President Jahjaga.
Previously, President Jahjaga has taken the decision to discharge Mr. Blerim Burjani from his position as representative of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo in the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kosovo.
The decision was taken based on Article 139, item 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, article 61, paragraph 5, item a, of the Law on the General Elections in the Republic of Kosovo, and at the request of the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
