In the context of reforming the judicial system, the fulfillment of the number of judges and prosecutors is an essential prerequisite to the full realization of these reforms, delivering results for the creation of an independent, efficient and impartial judiciary.
The construction and strengthening of the rule of law by respecting the principles of good governance and rule of law, is one of the primary goals we will carry along, ensuring that the principle of control and respecting the division of powers are an essential precondition for the creation of Kosovo as a functional and democratic state for all citizens, without distinction of religion, nationality or gender.
The appointment of the judges and prosecutors, the insurance of the physical, material but also professional conditions, show our mutual willingness to be part of European values by establishing independent, efficient and politically impartial institutions.
The President of the country, within the constitutional and legal mandate, is the guarantor for an independent, impartial and efficient judiciary. The rule of law is the focus of my efforts to create a stable state and contribute to stability and security in the region.
Kosovo is working for the strengthening of the rule of law, tackling corruption and economic development challenges. We are worried that today in his office the Director of Education of Prishtina was murdered. This is intolerable and expresses the low level of the relations in society which shows that we must strengthen the rule of law as a prerequisite for a normal and peaceful life for each citizen.
We are updating all our legislation to make it more efficient in the fight against organized crime and corruption and all negative phenomena.
The European integration involves in itself a series of steps that we must accomplish. In this regard, with your honest, professional job and your work with integrity, by respecting and implementing the law, you secure that in Kosovo no one is above the law.
