The President of the Republic of Italy Giorgio Napolitano has sent a letter of congratulation to the new President of the Republic of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli.
The letter of congratulation reads:
I want to express my heartiest congratulations on Your election as President of Republic of Kosovo.
Italia is very engaged in Kosovo, be it on bilateral basis, be it in terms of its presence in international missions, in support of safety, strengthening law and order and economic growth. I very much wish our bilateral relations will be intensified and deepened further.
In the same vein, Italy is fully committed to supporting Kosovo’s European perspective and to help increase the contribution that Your country can provide to stability all across the Balkan and to regional cooperation.
Mr. President, please accept my warm wishes for a complete success in your mandate and for the prosperity of all the people of Kosovo.
