The new Ambassador of France presented his credentials to President Thaçi

Prishtina, September 29, 2016 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, today has also accepted the credentials of the new Ambassador of France in Kosovo, Didier Chabert.

After the receipt of the credentials, welcoming him to Kosovo, President Thaçi expressed his satisfaction with the possibility that, together with Ambassador Chabert, he will continue to work on deepening the cooperation between the two countries.

Whereas, Ambassador Chabert said that the interstate cooperation can be expanded in many sectors.

“France has a special relationship with Kosovo. We will expand the cooperation in economy, culture and education, but also with the KSF”, said Ambassador Chabert.

President Thaçi stressed that the people and institutions of Kosovo are grateful to France for the special role it has played in our country and together there will be worked to strengthen peace and stability in the entire region.

“We will cultivate this special relationship. We will work together for peace and stability in the entire region”, said President Thaçi.
