Vilnius, June 30, 2011 – In Vilnius, Lithuania the conference “Women enhancing democracy: best practices” started its proceedings today in the morning, organized by the President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaite and Finnish President Tarja Halonen.
The Republic of Kosovo President, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, is also participating at the conference along with a large number of leader women from many countries of the world and other personalities of the political life.
At the beginning of the conference, President Jahjaga was welcomed by the organizers, the presidents, Dalia Grybauskaite and Tarja Halonen.
In the afternoon, President Jahjaga will lead a conference session and will address the participants with a speech.
