President Thaçi voted today at the polling station in the elementary school “Faik Konica” in Prishtina

Prishtina, October 22 - The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, voted today at the polling station in the elementary school “Faik Konica” in Prishtina, for the local elections being held in our country.

Congratulating the citizens of the country for this election process, President Thaçi said, “I would like to encourage them for a more massive voting, an active and dynamic participation in this important election process for the next four-year local government”.

He further expressed his gratitude to the CEC, as well as to all the institutional mechanisms that have worked with the utmost dedication to organize fair, free and democratic elections.

“It is a good start of this day. I hope and believe that the entire political mechanism, the civil society, the media, the CEC, all local and international observers will be in charge of their responsibilities that this important process or test of democracy for Kosovo will be completed successfully”, said President Thaçi.
