Sofia, December 07 – The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, is participating in the regional conference organized by the Government of Bulgaria and the World Bank.
The Western Balkan leaders have discussed about regional cooperation and the dynamism of the integration process of the Western Balkan states into the European Union.
Part of the regional leaders’ discussions with senior representatives of the European Union was aldo the completion of the road network and the improvement of the border crossing infrastructure.
President Thaçi has said that all Western Balkan countries should be given a clear European perspective and the EU should have a geostrategic approach to the region.
“The Western Balkan countries must enter the EU in a bloc, to ensure long-term peace and cooperation in the region”, said President Thaçi.
President Thaçi, today, will have a bilateral meeting with the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, with whom he will discuss about the possibility of deepening the cooperation between the two countries.
