Prishtina, 19 July 2016 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has received today the credentials from the new Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Kosovo, His Excellency Piero Cristoforo Sardi.
President Thaçi welcomed Ambassador Sardi whom he congratulated on assuming the new post and expressed his readiness to deepen good relations with Italy.
The new Italian ambassador to Kosovo, His Excellency Piero Cristoforo Sardi thanked President Thaçi for the hospitality and said that Italy and himself will continue to support Kosovo in its Euro-Altantic path.
President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi briefed Ambassador Sardi on Kosovo’s achievements and stressed that Kosovo institutions are working to meet the international obligations to good neighborly relations and regional cooperation.
