President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi received today representatives of the Pensioners League of Kosovo led by chairmen Shaban Kajtazi, with whom he discussed the situation of pensioners in Kosovo and the possibilities to support them.
President Thaçi said Kosovo was built thanks to the people that today must enjoy welfare and a dignified life as pensioners.
“You have made your contribution to the country and now it is the turn of the state and institutions to enhance care for you”, President Thaçi said.
Representatives of the Pensioners League of Kosovo congratulated President Thaçi upon assuming the office of the head of state and thanked him for his commitment shown so far, in all the position he held, to the improved welfare of pensioners.
“We recognize your commitment and we are grateful for the increased pension increase and the regulation of pension scheme”, Kajtazi said.
President Thaçi told the representatives of the Pensioners League of Kosovo that he will always remain open to pensioners, to listen to their concerns and to support them in accordance with his competency.
