Friday, May 6th, 2016 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi received today the President of the Constitutional Court, Arta Rama-Hajrizi, with whom he discussed the achievements of the Constitutional Court.
President Thaçi said that the Constitutional Court is the guardian of the constitutional order in the Republic of Kosovo and expressed gratitude for the successful work of this institution.
“I encourage you to continue to work to strengthen the integrity and preserving the impartiality of the institution, by constantly increasing its credibility”, President Thaçi said, adding that the Constitutional Court is an example for other institutions with its level of professionalism.
Meanwhile, president Rama-Hajrizi stressed the continued work on the consolidation of the Constitutional Court and the challenges it is facing, emphasizing the commitment and willingness of the institutions she heads to ensure the protection of the Constitution and constitutionality in the country.
President Thaçi assured that he will continue the cooperation within the competence of both institutions and reaffirmed his support for the Constitutional Court.
