President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi has received the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Ruairi O’Connell, with whom he discussed the cooperation between the two countries and the possibilities to further deepen the bilateral cooperation.
Thaçi said that Kosovo has avoided descending into political crisis and that lately a constructive attitude of all parties has been noted.
“It is to be appreciated that the debate has turned to issues such as the implementation of the Stabilization Association Agreement and the country’s economic development”, President Thaçi said.
British Ambassador to Kosovo, Ruairi O’Connell expressed his satisfaction with the new circumstances that may enable a more positive presentation of Kosovo in the world.
Parties discussed Kosovo’s presentation in sport and opportunities for a positive debut of Kosovo at the Olympic Games, and also relations with the regional countries and the international cooperation.
“We are seeking ways for a more dynamic dialogue in the region and with the EU”, President Thaçi said.
