President Thaçi, received today the former NATO spokesman, Jamie Shea

Prishtina, October 24 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today in a meeting the Deputy Assistant to the NATO Secretary General, the former NATO spokesman during the war period in Kosovo, Jamie Shea.

The President, while welcoming him, said that the citizens of Kosovo will be forever grateful to him for being their voice in the world but also the voice of the most powerful Alliance in the world that brought hope and confidence.

“Since the war, Kosovo has moved forward a lot. It has been developed in all sectors”, said President Thaçi. “We have achieved great successes, we are facing great challenges, but we are on the right track, with the right energy and will”, said President Thaçi.

On the other hand, Jamie Shea stated of being happy with the development of Kosovo, with the achievements and with the willingness that the Kosovo state institutions have to face the challenges.

“NATO remains committed in and for Kosovo”, he said.

President Thaçi said that with the engagement for dialogue, for the transformation of the KSF in coordination with the international partners, Kosovo, from a consumer of security capacities will be transformed into an exporter of peace and security in the region and beyond.
