Prishtina, February 19 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today in a meeting the Minister of State and the Chieff of Staff of the President of Guinea-Bissau, Fabien Sagna and the Advisor of the President, Paulino Cabral.
At this meeting, the State Minister of Guinea-Bissau, Fabien Sagna handed over to President Thaçi the letter of the President of Guinea-Bissau, José Mário Vaz, by which Kosovo’s recognition from this country is reconfirmed.
President Thaçi thanked them for their presence, exactly on the tenth anniversary of Kosovo’s independence, pointing out that this is the best evidence that the relations between Kosovo and Guinea-Bissau are stronger than any attempt to hurt them.
“I thank President Vaz, your government for recognizing Kosovo’s independence. Kosovo will always be a friend state of yours and we intend to deepen our cooperation even further”, said the President.
On the other hand, the Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of Guinea-Bissau, Fabien Sagna on behalf of President Vaz, congratulated the President and the people of Kosovo on the tenth anniversary of the independence.
