President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi received today the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce, Arian Zeka, with whom he discussed the creation of a more suitable environment for businesses in Kosovo
Presidenti Thaçi said that the signing and entry into force of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, as well as the fulfillment of the strict criteria to join the “Millenium Challenge Corporation” of the U.S. Congress, represent two powerful confirmations that Kosovo has made great strides in creating a better environment for businesses in Kosovo.
“We worked on the creation of a technical and legal infrastructure most conducive to business,” said President Thaçi, adding that “now it is the time to exploit these favorable circumstances”.
The Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce, Arian Zeka said he was encouraged by the fact that President Thaçi from the onset of his tenure has put emphasis on the importance of the economic development and the rule of law.
“The development of the country and putting in place a more favorable climate for foreign investors should be a priority for all of us”, President Thaçi concluded.
