President Thaçi received the credentials of the new Ambassador of Australia

Pristina, December 19 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the credentials of the non-resident Ambassador of Australia in Kosovo, Brendon Charles Hammer.

Congratulating him on the new assignment, President Thaçi stressed that the relations between our two countries are excellent and requested the continuation of support from Australia for Kosovo.
 
“We will work even harder to strengthen our bilateral relations. We expect your support for the process of Kosovo’s membership in various international organizations”, said President Thaçi.
 
On the other hand, the non-resident Ambassador of Australia to the Republic of Kosovo, Brendon Charles Hammer, promised that he will work for the further advancement of the bilateral relations.
 
President Thaçi thanked Ambassador Hammer also for the support that Australia has given for the recognition process of our state, extending its influence towards non-recognizing states.
