President Thaçi received the credentials of the Japanese Ambassador

Pristina, December 21 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi received today the credentials of the non-resident Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Kosovo, Kiyoshi Koinuma.

The President has thanked Ambassador Koinuma for the support that Japan has given to Kosovo on political level economic development, through various funds and grants.

“Japan has been among the first countries to recognize Kosovo and has continuously supported us in strengthening the international subjectivity”, said President Thaçi. “We will continue with this excellent cooperation and the intensification of bilateral relations, especially economic and cultural exchange”.

Ambassador Koinuma expressed the satisfaction about his new assignment and confirmed his desire to deepen the cooperation with Kosovo.

“2019 marks the tenth anniversary of the setting of the bilateral relations between the two countries. We shall mark this with more intensive cooperation”, said Ambassador Koinuma.

President Thaçi congratulated Ambassador Koinuma on his new assignment. “My door will always be open”, said President Thaçi.
