President Thaçi received the credentials of new Ambassador of Honduras

Pristina, December 15 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the credentials of the new non-resident Ambassador of Honduras to the Republic of Kosovo, Roberto Ochoa Madrid.

President Thaçi welcomed Ambassador Ochoa Madrid, whom he congratulated on taking office, thanking him for the recognition of Honduras, six years ago.

The President has emphasized that Honduras has always supported Kosovo on multilateral level, while in the coming months there will be deepening of bilateral relations.

“Very soon our two countries will sign several bilateral agreements, which will not only facilitate the cooperation between the two countries, but also between the two people”, added the President.

He has stressed that the diplomatic cooperation should be extended to economic exchange, through the signing of Memorandums of Understanding between the Chambers of Commerce of both countries.

Whereas, the new non-resident Ambassador of Honduras to the Republic of Kosovo, Roberto Ochoa Madrid, thanked President Thaçi for the hospitality and pledged that Honduras will continue the support for the Republic of Kosovo.

“Honduras will continue the active support for Kosovo”, said Ambassador Ochoa Madrid. President Thaçi said that the recognition and the active support of Honduras is also a signal to other countries in Latin America to recognize and support Kosovo.
