Prishtina, February 23 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today a delegation of the Bosniak National Council of Sandžak headed by Sulejman Ugljanin.
President Thaçi got informed about the position of the Bosniak community in Sandžak and about their representation in the local and central institutions.
In this meeting there was discussed about the possibility of deepening cooperation and interaction between the Albanian community in the Preševo Valley and the Bosniak community in Sandžak, especially for the promotion of their rights.
“The Republic of Kosovo is open for cooperation with the Bosnian community in the field of economy, culture and other areas of interest”, said President Thaçi.
President Thaçi thanked the Bosnian delegation for the support that this community has given to the people of Kosovo, especially during the war period.
