President Thaçi received in a meeting the USAID High Representative, Brock Bierman

Prishtina, February 19 - The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today in a meeting the Assistant Administrator for USAID’s Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Brock Bierman, accompanied by the Ambassador of the USA, Greg Delawie and the Head of the USAID in Kosovo, James Hope.

“The USAID in the last two decades has always been close to the people of Kosovo. Initially in the recovery, in the process of institution building and in the process of state-building”, said the President, expressing gratitude for the great work that the USAID has done in Kosovo in all fields.

President Thaçi said that the overall support that USAID has provided to Kosovo during this period has been extremely important for the country and the clear perspective of our state.

On the other hand, the Assistant Administrator for USAID’s Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Brock Bierman, has assured President Thaçi that this support will continue in the future in all areas.

At the end of the meeting President Thaçi thanked the USAID representative, Bierman, for participating in the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of Kosovo’s independence.
