President Thaçi participant in the Munich Security Conference

Prishtina, February 17, 2017 - At the invitation of Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has traveled to Germany, where he will participate in the Munich Security Conference (MSC).

President Thaçi together with 500 world leaders will attend this conference, which in the past five decades has turned into an important gathering for the international strategic community.

During the conference, President Thaçi is expected to hold meetings with representatives of different countries and world leaders.

At these meetings, he will talk about the Euro-Atlantic agenda of the Republic of Kosovo.

Since its establishment in 1963 under the name “Internationale Wehrkunde-Begegnung” the Munich Security Conference has been an independent forum dedicated to the promotion of peaceful solutions to conflicts, as well as international cooperation and dialogue.

The Munich Security Conference opens today on February 17 and will last until Sunday, February 19, 2017.
